Praia Seca is a quiet seaside village 120 km outside of Rio de Janeiro. In the village there are several restaurants, shops where you can by food, farmacies and handcrafts. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to Praia Seca. There are good bus-services to nearby cities like Araruama (15 minutes) and Cabo Frio (45 min). If you want to take a trip to Rio this is only about 2 hours away.
Praia Seca has a beachside on both sides of the village. One to the Atlantic and one to the big Salt Lake. This is the worlds largest salt lake, and the production of salt is still going on as it has done for hundred of years. |
