Black river district on the West coast is the sunniest part of the island. Flic-en-flac is known for its beautiful beaches and its downtown area which offers day/night entertainment, a choice of good restaurants, great shopping and transportation to anywhere on the island.

The house is located about 60 m from the deep sea shoreline and basalt cliffs, 1.5 km from downtown and the beaches. Whales and dolphins are sometimes visible from the cliffs. Bring your binoculars. Listen to the gentle trickle of a stream flowing next to the house. Watch monkeys and bats feed on the trees alongside the stream during tamarind and mango season.
