The Apartment ..Block E, Floor 4, Apartment 2 , (
 
This apartment will be furnished with a luxury Gold Italian Furniture Pack, supplied by Sunset Resort ready for the grand opening of the resort on May 1st 2007.
It has two bedrooms.One contains a double bed , the other one contains two single beds.There is also a sofa in the living room that converts into a bed , and sleeps two.So it is possible for 6 people to stay in this apartment. There will be a 32" flatscreen cable TV in the living room and a smaller one in the main bedroom.

The living room has one large balcony , and one smaller one leading off the bedroom, which looks out over the pool area below, they have a direct sea views.

The bathroom consists of one shower , a bath with shower facility , twin wash basins set in marble surround ,toilet and bidet. Both shower facilicities are power showers , the shower head turns to give different effects.

I now live in Bulgaria in close proximity to the apartments that I am letting. So if there are any problems or questions during your stay, don't be afraid to contact me.

Wine tasting evenings at Izbata. From reception arrange a tour and wine tasting evening at the first Bulgarian wine tourism estate, which is located within 10 minutes walk up the beach from the apartment.

The webpage calls it Via Pontica , but the sign over its entrance now reads Izbata. Via Pontica name has now been used for the apartments in close proximity to it.

Old Pomorie is less than 5 mins away from Sunset Resort. It's land extends out into the sea to form a peninsula, and it's possible to walk all the way round it. Old Pomorie is a traditional Bulgarian coastal town. It was similar in appearance to the historic towns of Nessebar and Sozopol until the early part of this century when a large fire destroyed the majority of its wooden houses. Although some still remain towards the tip of the peninsula.

Travel by the evening "tourist steam train" in the summer season to enjoy the lively areas in Old Pomorie.It is a regular 15 minute shuttle service between New Pomorie and Old Pomorie. It's a small vehicle made to look like a steam train , which pulls open carriages of people behind it , and travels at about 10- 15mph and costs only 1leva.

Shopping in the second largest coastal city of Bulgaria 25 minutes away. With it's open air cafe's and restaurants and good quality shops, at a fraction of the price you would pay in the UK.


Sunset Resort is situated in New Pomorie, Old Pomorie is approximately 2km further down the road. Pomorie has a more relaxed ambiance than for instance Sunny Beach. It still has many tourists , but there is a more traditional feel about the town as there is still a high proportion of locals to tourists. Old Pomorie is an attractive area to walk through especially down its cobbled streets , and large promenade that follows the coastline towards Sunset Resort which is clearly visible in the distance. There is also a pier from which boat trips operate.
In the heart of the town behind the well known St Georges Hotel , there is a square where many locals have their own stalls selling goods and crafts. There are many restaurants and places to eat and drink. In the summer months all the shops stay open until very late, and the place is "buzzing". Population of Pomorie is around 20,000 people, its a fully functioning community, whereas in comparison Sunny Beach virtually closes down out of season.
New Pomorie also has a good selection of shops,from fresh fruit and vegetables, bakeries, corner shops, cafes and restaurants. There is also a very pretty Old Monastery, which you are allowed to look around.

If you want to travel into the city of Bourgas, I can recommend the bus transport service,(saves on the taxi fares). To Bourgas there are buses every 30 mins through out the day until approximately 19:30. The bus stop is approx 200m from the hotel just outside two clothes shops that are set back on the left hand side of the road as you walk into New Pomorie. The price 1.80 levs ! It terminates in the heart of Bourgas city beside the old railway station, and very close to its main pedestrian street. To get back to Pomorie, catch the bus from the same position you arrived at, (buses every 30 mins). Tell the conductor "Nov Pomorie" , then look out for your stop which will be directly opposite from where you first travelled from. The bus to Sunny Beach is not quite as frequent from Pomorie, and its stop is directly opposite the bus stop for Bourgas.
Using taxi's, always ask how much to start , and then haggle. They seem OK in Pomorie, but be careful in Sunny Beach. From Pomorie to Sunny Beach should be 20 leva to 25 leva .
