Bansko is the newest Bulgarian ski-centre. Above the town on the northern slopes of the UNESCO Pirin mountains are located the two main ski-centres - the low altitude CHALIN VALOG (1100-1600m) and the high altitude SHILIGARNIKA (1700-2500).

The range of skiing is 14 km of ski runs with 7 lifts with the longest ski run of 2.5 km. Experienced skiers will particularly enjoy the excellent opportunity to maximize skiing practises. Beginners slopes will make first ski lessons easy and enjoyable. Tours can be arranged to Semkovo ski center in Rila Mountain (40 min. drive) and helicopter trips can bring you to Borovetz (the largest ski centre in Bulgaria) within 20 min.
