This is a 19th Century Famhouse, sitting in a typical Slovenian Village and surrounded by farmland and mountain vistas. Bohinjska Bela is just minutes from Bled with its relaxed cafe culture & wonderful lake. A 20 minute drive in the opposite direction takes you to Bohinj and into the vast Triglav national park, a stunning area with a very wide range of sporting facilities & opportunities - you name it, it's available.

The village of Bohinjska Bela is a peaceful place to return to after an active day and has everything you'll need during your stay: its own local shop for food (excellent local wine and beer) and so on. A couple of lovely village pubs and a restaurant that does genuinely excellent food.

The views of the surrounding valley and mountains are truly stunning and the locals are so kind and welcoming.

These are some of the reasons why we bought this house, why every time we come back we fall in love again with Slovenia, its terrific people and the lovely Farmhouse.

The Farmhouse is really BIG. So big that even split into apartments, each one feels like a family home. This, apartment (ground floor) has a large dining-kitchen, a lovely double bedroom, and a sofa bed in the lounge. One of our favourite features is the traditional wood burning stove/oven which keeps the house very toasty in the winter and feeling cosy in the summer.

We always try to make sure our guests' stay is as comfortable and easy as possible. Our double beds are all King size (2m wide), the furniture provided is very high quality as are the towels, robes and slippers. We provide a yummy selection of local goodies as a welcome pack for when you arrive.

This is a ground floor apartment. It has one double bedroom, a single bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge. The large lounge has a traditional wood burning oven and there is a separate kitchen and dining area.

Tutored rock climbing, guided alpine climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, parapgliding, canyoning are just a few a few of the activities available either on site or a tiny hop skip and an jump away at lake Bohinj or Bled. We can pre book all of these and more: just send us an email us what you want to do.

Rock climbing is a particular speciality at the Farmhouse because of the 30m private crag in the back garden and the superb climbing in the cliffs which circle the entire village; some of the best in the country.
