Set in two acres in the quiet hamlet of Le Grand Breuil, Logis de Tertre has open views of the agricultural landscape which in July and August is dominated by fields of sunflowers or maize. Constructed in the local stone Logis de Tertre is a typical Charentaise farmhouse. Careful conversion works by the owners have created two gites in the old stable and farmworkers house and much of the original stonework and timber beams has been retained to give a 'rustic' charm.

A short 3 minute drive from Logis de Tertre you will find our nearest market town, Mauze sur Le Mignon. A small weekly food market is held there every Wednesday morning, with a much larger market held on the first Wednesday of each month. A well stocked Intermarche supermarket will provide all your essential groceries and there are other boulangeries,traiteurs and pharmacies in the main street.
Several good restaurants can be found in the nearby villages of Usseau, Surgeres and La Laigne.
Hypermarkets, shops, bistros and restaurants can be found in abundance 30 minutes away either at La Rochelle or Niort.
