Casa Pietraluna is our house in Italy where we spend happy months each year so we hope that you'll find it far more than just another quality 'rental' home. As we stay there often we've ensured that the restoration, facilities, fittings and furnishings are all to a very high standard but also we've tried to make it a holiday home - we hope you enjoy it as we do. The property is newly restored, finished in Autumn 2006 so Summer 2007 will be it's first season on the market.

The salone or day room comprises two cones - when the afternoon sunshine strikes through a window high in the large cone the room glows and in the evening, spotlights on the beams illuminate the cone - a beautifully relaxing room. Like the whole property it is a pleasantly cool retreat from the heat of the sun. A corridor through the centre of the trullo connects the salone with the kitchen and all the other rooms open off this corridor, the house bathroom, two bedrooms ( a double & a single) plus the master bedroom suite comprising bedroom, dressing area and ensuite bathroom. The ensuite tiles are mosaic and the handbasin is set in a large beautiful piece of antique style marble - you'd think it came from Ceasar's palace 2000 years ago. The showers are large, constant hot water at the turn of a tap, lots of storage (wardrobes & drawers) and the linen (sheets & towels) is of top quality. Corridor storage cupboards neatly hide away all the normal domestic needs, iron, hoover, hairdryer etc.

The kitchen is fully fitted with ample modern units, electric fan oven, 5 ring auto-ignition gas hob, large fridge/freezer and washing machine. Double doors open onto the veranda for alfresco dining at any time of the day - breakfast at sunrise is stunning. The oval dining table extends to seat eight if you wish to entertain though local restaurants really are superb.
