The house is a large detached traditional stone house recently renovated and containing everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing family holiday. 3 hours drive from Calais on motorways all the way apart from the last 5 minutes will find you in the centre of the historically and geographically interesting Belgian Ardennes. Less than an hour from the French Champagne region, Luxemburg city and thirty minutes from the caves of Han Sur Lesse. The delightful River Lesse flows by at the foot of the valley for trout fishing, summer paddling and winter canoeing plus walking and mountain biking all year round. Summer family kayaking possibilities abound. Historical chateaus and castles are nearby, as are Trappist breweries and cheesemakers.

Ground floor accomodation consists of a large and well equipped kitchen diner. A large wood panelled hallway. A cosy lounge with full entertainment centre and open fire and a newly refurbished bathroom with shower. Upstairs are the four bedrooms , two double and two linked twin, all with sinks, bedside lights, comfortable beds, wardrobes and full central heating. The house has a large cellar fitted as a children's playroom with toys available. The garden is large and contains a brick built barbecue and built in picnic table that seats 8. The large, safe garden contains mature plants and a swing and slide for the children plus parking for 4 cars.
