We chose to live in Arcos as it feels a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the Mediterannean Costas.

Arcos is a real, thriving, Andalucian community with all the amenities that you would expect in a small town; food market, cinema, pharmacies, shops, restaurants and bars but retains an authentic atmosphere and is not overly commercialised.

We have aimed to make it as much a home-from-home experience as possible and have provided local guide books and maps to help our guests enjoy their stay to the full.

Our experience shows that people like to come to Arcos to relax and unwind whilst having the hustle and bustle of bigger cities available close at hand.

Arcos is ideally situated to be your base for exploring all that Cadiz province has to offer.

Within easy reach are the historic cities of Jerez de la Frontera, Cadiz and Seville.

The other Pueblos Blancos (White Villages) are within easy reach as are the spectacular National Parks at Sierra Grazalema, Coto Donaña and Alcornocales.

Day-trips to Morocco are possible

Our nearest beach is an easy 40 minutes drive away. On the Costa de la Luz there is a wide range of coastal towns and villages. Some have completely undeveloped beaches while others are more family oriented. Luckily, these beaches have not been overly developed. Cadiz province has been keen to limit development and avoid the mistakes that have been made by Malaga province.

A good range of lake based watersports are available within Arcos.
