This spacious independent chalet sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms and anopen mezzanine area. The large, light lounge has been recently refurbished with new sofas and carpets. (No need for sofa beds) There is an open fire place and french doors to the terrace. SKY TV and DVD and small stereo are provided for your entertainment.

A large dining table easily seats 6 and the kitchen is fully equipped.

All linen is provided.

There is ample parking outside the property and a car is recommended. There is a large garden nad garden furniture is provided. The immediate area is woodland with open views over the Chamonix valley.

The village of Les Houches is a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk down the hill. It has several shops, 2 supermarkets and lots of bars and restaurants. It has 2 cable cars open in the summer to accesss the mounatains for walking and mountain biking. Also there is a small lake with childrens play area, tennis courts and hipe rope adventure park. There is a small museum in the village too.

Chamonix valley is spectacular! The home of mountaineering it is accessible to all with extensive lifts, the highest, the Aiguille du Midi reaching a height of 3842m. There are literally hundreds of walks and montain bike routes in the valley and up high. Chamonix town ( 7 mins away ) has many shops, restaurants and bars. It has a lively Saturday market also. A large sports centre boasts swimming pools, ice rink, climbing wall etc. Chamonix also has a fabulous 18 hole golf course with the most amazing views to put you off your golf! Breathtaking views at every turn - its a little corner of paradise.
