Nestling in 26 acres of protected woodland, the detached luxury lodge is perfectly situated with spectacular views of the rolling Cumbrian mountains. The lodge is decorated througout with wooden cladding, making it stylish and warm.

As you walk through the front door you are greeted by a beautiful wooden corridor, which leads to two cosy bedrooms with plenty of storage space. The lodge benefits from two convenient bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bath, suiting all of your needs. At the end of the corridor sits a bright and spacious living area with comfy sofas, a fire and a television for evening relaxation. The dining area has a large table where you can enjoy a family meal or a sociable breakfast. The kitchen is a fully equipped with a microwave and a dishwasher, as well as other convenient appliances. It offers an ideal blend of modern and traditional. French doors lead from the lounge to the unoverlooked veranda which runs round the outside of the lodge. Patio furniture is supplied. You can enjoy the breathtaking views while eating al fresco.

The lodge is part of a charming holiday resort named Brookwood Hall. Even at the height of the summer season, with all the lodges occupied, the resort is always peaceful with none of the facilities over used or crowded. This includes a swimming pool complete with a hot tub, and a fantastic restaurant right on your doorstep. There is also a well-kept putting green placed right in the sun and a small play park by a wooded area for young children to play. The surrounding area is full of places to visit, such as the Candle Factory and the Steam Railway. Just a 45-minutes away is Grasmere, a small town where the famous, mouth-watering Grasmere Gingerbread is made. Cumbria is also famous for its stunning waterfalls, which can easily be seen through the pathways and routes available for you to walk amongst the exquisite countryside.
