The real beauty about the apartment is the position. Perfectly situated in Lenno on the west coast of Lake Como, the apartment enjoys a lovely sunny aspect and is ideally located to visit all parts of the lake with the ferry and bus stop just 3 minutes walk from the apartment -so no need for a car!
The reason who choose this apartment was having fallen in love with Lake Como we found we returned to Lenno time and again as it was one of the only villages along the lake where you the main lakeside walkways were hidden from the passing traffic which made the area more secluded and special. The property itself also had the added benefit of being positioned behing a little secluded shingle beach which is just 2 minutes walk in front of the apartment which made the home even more magical!

The sunkissed village enjoys an idyllic, relaxing atmosphere.From the romantic lakeside walk ways to the manmade golden sandy beach where you can lay beneath miniture tented gazebos whilst waitors bring you your favourite cocktail the whole village is geared towards relaxation. For lovers of culture the village is home to the famous "Villa Balbianello", and impossibly romantic italian house with lusciuos gardens and even more impressive panoramic views (the villa was recently seen in the latest James Bond 007 movie, Casino Royale)

Restuarants, bars and a local supermarket are only a short walk from the apartment!
From here you can visit Bellagio, Villa D'este, the city of Como, Milan all by boat, bus or car (however car hire is not necessary due to the proximity of the lake to the apartment)

Monza grand prix and AC Milan/ Inter FC are all within an hour of the apartment.
From here, Switzerland is also possible to visit, being just 30 minutes from the border.
