Along the sea front during Spring and Summer there are bars selling drinks, snacks and tapas and during the fiestas in July, there is a wide range of family entertainment. For the golf minded, the renowned BonMont Golf Course is just a five minute drive away and two further courses on the way to Reus.

There are an enormous amount of activities for children and adults in the area of the Costa Dorada around Miami Playa. Tarragona, for 400 years the Roman Capital of Spain, lies to the north of the villa, and with its historic castles and past is well worth a day's exploration. To the south, the variety of Spanish flora and fauna must be seen to be believed in the protected nature reserves of the Ere Delta. There are many pleasant villages spread throughout the landscape from the mountains to the coast, with literally hundreds of shallow beaches and coves. There are historic castles and monasteries, and of course, superb Spanish and Catalan cuisine and fine local wines. Family attractions include Universal Studio's Port Aventura theme park, Costa Caribe water park, and a dolphinarium, all only a 20 minute drive away. The inspirational city of Barcelona is an easy train ride from nearby Hospitalet.
