The villa has its own water chiller for use with bottled water.
Linen and towels are provided but guests are required to bring their own beach towels.
The Villa has its own private pool which is maintained daily and a large sunbathing area all enclosed in a walled garden.
Sunloungers and parasols are provided.
There is a spacious travertine balcony overlooking the pool that has its own table for six, ideal for Al Fresco dining with views of the pine-clad hills & valleys.
The villa recently had the basement converted, allowing it to sleep an extra six people if required.
It has its own large shower and wc and is also air conditioned.
If you required the extra rooms this could be discussed before booking.
There is a safe on the property.

Hints & Tips

Climate
The Lycian coast of Turkey enjoys pleasant year round weather. However in the heat of the summer it is not unusual for temperatures to reach more than 35C. Please make sure that adequate sun protection is always used and it is important to drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration. As in all Mediterranean countries mosquitos can be a nuisance. It is a good idea to apply repellent to all exposed skin.

Paying Locally
Sterling cash, some Turkish Lira and credit cards will give you the most flexibility in Turkey. There are anumber of cash dispensers (ATM) locally to the villa and you can withdraw Turkish lire or Pounds Sterling.

Water & Electricity
The villa is on mains water
The voltage is 220 volts AC, . It is also not unusual for there to be power cuts from time to time. Villa Mandalina has electric cooking facilities but please be patient it soon comes back on!

Local Transport
The most popular form of local transport is the dolmus (bus) service. This is a shared mini-bus that follows specific routes and is very cheap. Ordinary taxis are also available. Guests wishing to hire a car should take their international driving licence.

Language
Turkish is the national language however in most resorts you will find that English is widely spoken.
