The immediate reaction to this area was "how pretty" The flowers in the fields nearby really sold this house to me.In the Spring the fields of almond trees are in blossom along with the orange and lemons. This house is like a tardis,it was originally 2 houses, but we have renovated it and turned it into one large 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house. Nearby are fields and trees. This house is in a quiet side-road, with no passing traffic. We are soon having a tarmac road put in.The neighbours are elderly Spanish on one side, and on the other, English. All are very friendly. There is a picturesque Spanish Church in the village.The baker delivers most days,along with a mobile grocer, bodega and cheese and fish man. In Las Palas there are shops, a bank and restaurants. (One English Restaurant ) In La Pinilla there is also a bank, several Estate Agents,small shops. It is essential to have a car to enjoy this beautiful area of the countryside. If you want to go to the beach there is a choice between, Puerto de Mazarron, Isla Plana, La Azohia, Bolnuevo and Porteus. All are very beautiful beaches.
