Gualdo, situated on a hill at an altitude of 652m benefits from an exceptioal panoramic view from the mountains down to the sea. The village is at the centre of Le Marche and respects its ancient cultural and gastronomic tradtions. The avenue which leads up to the historic village centre is lined with centuries old horse chestnut trees which seem to stand guard over the peace and tranquillity of the place.
In the centre one can find basic amenities such as a butcher, bakers', greengrocer, mini-market, bar, a bank, post office and a restaurant. In the public gardens there is a children's playground and roller skating rink.

A few kilometres from Gualdo lies the San Giacomo Spa, famous for its therapeutic waters, complete with health and beauty farm.
For opera lovers, Macerata, the capital of the province, is renowned for its summer season which is held in the spectacular outdoor "sferistereo".
