Gualdo, situated on a hill at an altitude of 652m benefits from an exceptioal panoramic view from the mountains down to the sea. The village is at the centre of Le Marche and respects its ancient cultural and gastronomic tradtions. The avenue which leads up to the historic village centre is lined with centuries old horse chestnut trees which seem to stand guard over the peace and tranquillity of the place. In the centre one can find basic amenities such as a butcher, bakers', greengrocer, mini-market, bar, a bank, post office and a restaurant.
